Key technical features

The high-rise “The Light One”, which is prominently located on Iuliu Maniu Boulevard, with its glass facade and a corner, transparent LED screen on level nine forms a landmark that can be seen from afar. Adjacent to the two-story lobby, around 22,000 square meters of rentable space extend over eleven floors.

The service core located in the middle of the building includes access, toilet and technical rooms. This guarantees the user maximum flexibility in the display along the facade, which is reinforced thanks to the floor-to-ceiling glazing. 34,000 square meters of triple Xtreme 70/33 II solar control glass was used. Half of each panel was provided with a translucent surface using the screen-printing process. The glazing helps to reduce energy consumption in summer and winter and contributed to obtain the BREEAM Excellent sustainability certification.
